Quaint wooden chapel at the foot of a fell

A Gazebo style wooden chapel simply decorated with fern, candles and reindeer skins. This venue at the foot of a ski slope is a charming choice! The Bride arrives to the ceremony on either a horse drawn carriage, a sleigh pulled by a reindeer or a skidoo and sleigh! Enjoy a champagne toast in a real igloo and party at a restaurant near by to the music of your choice.

Ice Chapel Wedding

Exchange your vows in a chapel made of ice and snow! Often the bride arrives on a reindeer pulled sleigh while the groom arrives by skidoo and sleigh. For the more adventurous why not have your drinks reception in a real igloo with a feast over an open fire. You can even choose to spend the night in a real igloo. This way you will surely hold your loved one that little bit tighter!

We can also arrange your ceremony to be held in a real igloo. A drinks reception can be arranged in an adjoining part of the igloo, followed by a wedding meal at an atmospheric restaurant.

Traditional Reindeer Farm Wedding

Lapland has a long association with reindeers and Santa Claus. For an authentic experience in true Lappish style, undertake your wedding ceremony at a reindeer farm. Continue the Lappish theme with Lappish outfits for the Bride and Groom. Enjoy your wedding meal in a tepee and say 'Kippis' (Cheers in Finnish) with a glass of gloggi (a traditional Christmas drink) or Koskenkorva (local vodka type drink).

Wedding aboard a Steam Train

For a wedding with a difference, a very special way of celebrating your wedding is onboard a steam train while travelling through the Lappish countryside. It is possible to hire a traditional steam train. A variety of entertainment and music can be provided during your journey and it is possible for all on board to see the wedding live on screens whilst travelling through the Lappish countryside to your reception possibly at a traditional farm to enjoy a wedding meal and merriment.

Visualise a cabin surrounded by snow laden trees with smoke curling out of the chimney. A candlelit path leads to a welcoming greeting with a warming drink followed by a short ceremony in front of the log fire and a private catered meal with romantic music in the background.
